STRICT QUALITY CONTROL THROUGH A MANUAL PROCESS
The Argan tree bears fruits once to twice a year. The “affiash” are olive-shaped drupes with an outer fleshy part that surrounds 
a hard nut.  Traditionally harvested by the local population and set to dry in the sun, the almonds are then cracked open between 
two stones to extract the kernels.  Skilled workers have to ensure that the kernels remain intact through this operation.

The kernels are then cold-pressed and mechanically filtered.  The result of this meticulous and arduous work is a nutritious oil 
offering exceptional health benefits, both medicinal and cosmetic.
Zit Sidi Yassine Ltd., producer for Argan & More Ltd., manufactures one of the finest oil in Morocco.  Thanks to a first class 
production facility and strict quality controls applied throughout the various manufacturing stages, the company has been 
accredited with a label of “biological origin” by the regulation body Qualité France.  Each shipment exported includes a 
certificate of origin listing the exact composition of the oil.
